What is a G-Loot Brawl? Everything you need to know to start competing

G-Loot Brawls are a must if you want to start competing regularly in your favorite games. But what are Brawls, and how do you get started? Let’s dive right in.
What is a Brawl?
TL;DR? Watch this short video below!
Brawls are a kind of “asynchronous competition.” Or, in human terms, a kind of competition where you don’t have to play at the same time as your opponents. Unlike with tournaments (where you play in the same server as the other players) Brawls are based on scores you achieve in your own games. These are put on a leaderboard with the top players winning prizes.

It's not just the top three players that win prizes.
Brawls test your skills but don't require you to show up at a particular time, you can compete when you want to. Getting to the top of the leaderboard is challenging but the competition format is simple enough for anyone to try.
How do I win?
The aim of the Brawl is to get the highest score on the leaderboard that week. Depending on the game and the Brawl, that could be most kills, most goals, etc.
There’s a catch though. You can’t just play more rounds than everyone else. Only your best rounds are counted. If you’re playing a best-of-3 Brawl, you could play 15 rounds over the week, and your 3 best scores would count. That means that even if you’re having a bad day, it won't hurt your final score.
What do I win?
The best players in the Brawl win coins which you can spend in the G-Loot shop. In some games, you can also win tickets for the monthly Showdown tournament, which has a big cash prize.
How do I play?
First off, you’ll need to have the G-Loot PC app installed and whichever game it is you want to compete in. Right now, you can find Brawls in Apex Legends, PUBG, Valorant, CS:GO, Dota 2, League of Legends, and Rocket League.
You’ll also need a token (more on this in a minute.) If you haven’t already, log in to play.gloot.com and claim your Daily Reward. You can usually get some free tokens this way.

Don't forget to claim your free token.
Once you’re ready, run the G-Loot app and start up your game. You should see the G-Loot logo in the top left corner. Click it to open the overlay. There are a bunch of different things you can do from here, but right now, you’ll want to click on the Brawl tab.
Alright, you’re almost at the moment of truth. Now you should have the option to pay a token and register a score to the Brawl. Make sure you’re ready to give it your all because once you’ve spent your token, there’s no going back. The next match you play in the right game mode will be submitted.
What’s next?
Well, as long as you have tokens, you can keep playing rounds and trying to improve your score. Each Brawl lasts for several days, so you can play whenever suits your schedule. Scores can take a little while to be updated on the leaderboard, so don’t worry if you don’t see your new score right away.
At the end of the Brawl, the top scorers will receive their prizes, and it’ll be nearly time to start the next one.
I’m out of tokens. How do I get more?
Luckily, there are a few different ways to top up your tokens.

Visit your G-Loot dashboard to claim your tokens.
You can claim tokens through the Daily Loot streak just by visiting the G-Loot website every day.
You can buy more tokens on the wallet page.
The most fun way is to earn tokens by completing G-Loot Missions while you play. There are new Missions to play every day, and they are tracked automatically as long as you run the G-Loot app while you play your game.
Brawls are now even better with Clans!
In September 2022 we launched G-Loot Clans, where you can now connect with other fellow players that share the same interests and love for games as you do. After you join a Clan, whenever you enroll in a Brawl that has a Clan leaderboard, your result will be counted for your Clan as well. Your results will essentially count for both Brawls, the Solo one, and your Clan’s.
Conclusion
That’s it. You’re now ready to go and start proving your skills in the Weekly Brawl! Don't forget to read more on how you can earn rewards with G-Loot by simply playing your favourite games, or join us on Discord.
See you on the leaderboards!
