Premier gaming peripherals company HyperX has teamed up with iconic streamer Tim “TimTheTatMan” Betar on a new collaboration. The limited-edition collection features four pieces of high-quality gear customized by the TatMan himself.
This suite of products is the HyperX Hero and ambassador’s first signature release. It includes a keyboard, mouse, headset, and mousepad.
“Excited to finally share my first co-branded HyperX products with the tatmanarmy,” said Tim “TimTheTatMan” Betar. “HyperX and I have been working non-stop to get these products ready, I can’t wait for you all to enjoy them too.”
TimTheTatMan is one of the world’s most prolific streamers and content creators. He has amassed over 4.5 million YouTube subscribers. Known for playing numerous titles, his larger-than-life personality has reached many different gaming communities. This includes G-Loot-supported games like CS: GO and Fortnite, as well as Call of Duty, Overwatch, Fall Guys, and even World of Warcraft.
“TimTheTatMan is an engaging and entertaining personality representing a core segment of the gaming and streaming industry,” said Khoi Nguyen, influencer marketing, HyperX. “The HyperX team is thrilled to be working with TimTheTatMan on this limited-edition suite of peripherals to provide the tatmanarmy with a collection of gaming products designed to tackle daily in-game and on-stream needs.”
I was fortunate enough to get my hands on one of the HyperX x TimTheTatMan bundles. This review will give you an exclusive look at the collection and provide details on the design, performance, and specs of the products.
Capsule
Right away, you’ll notice HyperX and TimTheTatMan have pulled out all the stops for this collection’s aesthetic. The capsule arrives wrapped in a camo cover reminiscent of a real care package you might find in an FPS game.

Unraveling the sheath reveals a wooden crate that comes apart from all sides. As it dismantles, the crate resembles opening a care package. Inside are the four peripherals that are part of the collection in their respective packaging.

The entire set of items instantly pops out with an electric neon yellow and black colorway throughout. They also feature TimTheTatMan’s patented “triple T” logo, as well as his full wordmark. Everything has been selected by the renowned streamer as his personal peripherals of choice. Included are many of HyperX’s most critically acclaimed products that are used in eSports and by streamers worldwide.

Pulsefire Mat
The HyperX Pulsefire Mat is a large gaming mouse pad that has a wide variety of functions. Its design is similar to smaller mouse pads, but its size allows you to set a keyboard and monitor on it too. The incredibly durable surface features the “triple T” log front and center with TimTheTatMan’s stamp in the background.

Smooth material allows the mouse to glide across the pad with consistent precision. Anti-fray stitching ensures the pad will not have loose fibers after prolonged use. The bottom is constructed with a non-slip rubber base that keeps the pad stable for maximum comfort.

Best of all, the HyperX Pulsefire Mat easily rolls up for gamers on the go.

The size, portability, and expert craftsmanship make it one of the best gaming mouse pads available. Meanwhile, the neon and black colorway and TimTheTatMan’s personal touch add a bonus helping of visual appeal.

Signature Light Bar
The keyboard included in the collection is the HyperX Alloy Elite 2. It’s composed of a solid steel frame that is easily the sturdiest keyboard I’ve ever used. This limited edition variant features a black base with splashes of neon yellow along the top. The “triple T” logo can be seen faintly near the numerical keys.

Keys are initiated with HyperX Red linear-style switches that give smooth feedback and limit noise. Most of them are black, but the special function keys along the left, bottom, and center are neon yellow to provide subtle contrast. This includes the space bar, which is patterned with the “triple T” logo and the TimTheTatMan wordmark in the center.

On the top left of the keyboard, you’ll find ultra-reliable HyperX mechanical switches that control the RGB lighting underneath the keys. RGB lighting can be customized with HyperX NGENUITY software.

The top right side of the keyboard features four dedicated media keys and a large volume wheel for the simplest of sound adjustments.

The HyperX Alloy Elite 2 is tailor-made not just for gaming but for streaming, video editing, and much more. I actually typed this entire article with it!

Pulsefire Haste Mouse

At less than 60 grams without the cable, the HyperX Pulsefire Haste is one of the most lightweight gaming mouses available. Its honeycomb shell and hollowed-out design let it zip across mouse pads with great speed. The flexible braided cable and virgin-grade skates give a smooth and precise glide to every mouse movement.

TTC Golden Micro switches provide responsive clicks you can rely on and are rated for 60 million clicks. There are two additional clickers on the left side of the mouse, letting you both left and right click with your thumb. You can also assign these buttons to additional commands depending on the game.

The Pulsefire Haste’s scroll wheel has RGB lights similar to the Alloy Elite 2. Their color can be changed with a small button between the main click switches.
The mouse itself has a black casing with TimTheTatMan’s stamp on the left side. The bottom casing is neon yellow, as are the side switch clickers and RGB button.

Cloud Alpha Headset
HyperX is world-renowned for their vast array of high-quality headsets. One of the most groundbreaking headsets in their stable is the HyperX Cloud Alpha. This headset is made from a very durable aluminum frame with a gold finish, giving the headset a regal aesthetic.

A gold “triple T” logo can be seen on the outside of the ear, while the TimTheTatMan stamp adorns the inside of the cup. The black memory foam, adjustable headband, and soft, pliable leatherette ensure the utmost comfort for every gamer.

Dual Chamber Drivers separate the bass from mids and highs for crystal-clear audio. The detachable microphone implements noise-canceling technology and is certified by Discord and TeamSpeak. The headset’s braided cable is also detachable.

Not only does the headset offer great audio and microphone features, but it has few rivals (if any) when it comes to comfort. The carrying sack and PC extension cable included in the packaging is a nice bonus.

Overall, the HyperX x TimTheTatMan limited edition peripherals collection is an incredibly impressive first collaboration between the two. Not only is the design and colorway sleek and eye-catching, but the top-notch performance of these peripherals is also hard to ignore. Coincidentally, the set also happens to match the color of my Xbox controller.

This is a must-own collection for fans of the tatted streamer. Or, if you’re just looking for high-quality gear with a one-of-a-kind design, these are about as rare of items as you can find. My personal favorite is the Cloud Alpha headset for its unmatched comfort.
